My wife and I are planning our first trip to Costa Rica. Our final destination is PJM so we would like to arrive in Costa Rica by SJO. We are going to try to depart YYZ in the evening of February 9th. We are planning to use our passes on AC to get us to either MIA or EWR in order to spend the night there and try and get seats on the first departure the next morning.

ATL or IAH are additional options.

We would be taking CO out of EWR or Lacsa or AA out of MIA or DL out of ATL or CO out of IAH.

Lacsa from MIA to SJO would get us into SJO the earliest. Does anyone have the number for their English standby travel line?

We would appreciate advice on any other options for getting from YYZ to SJO.

We would also appreciate advice on which of the previously mentioned routes usually work out the best for loads.

We are also wondering if anyone has been able to get reduced rates on Sansa Airlines? We are planning to take Sansa from SJO to PJM return if seats are still available and even if we must pay full fare.
