The Caribbean is "An arm of the western Atlantic Ocean bounded by the coasts of Central and South America and the West Indies."

Your correct PVR or anything on the Mexican Pacific Coast are NOT Caribbean. So I wasn't thinking too good when PVR was mentioned above. However, the east side of the Yucatan peninsula (Cancun, Cozumel) is Caribbean.
