Did you pay for this? What I meant was wife's job got her that evidently. She mentioned getting fingerprinted and all. This was a while ago. I had no clue that companies pay for this global entry or something. My airlines doesn't do it. (Pay for mine.) I won't pay to do this. I'll just go through the line. If wife gets it, more power to her.

It used to be a program you had to sign up for, but if you were enrolled in something like Global Entry (expedited customs) or Nexus (passport card for Canada and a few others) you could get access to precheck as well. Or if you're feeling lucky (how was Vegas? ) you may be "randomly" selected to get it on your boarding pass.

Are you saying that anyone can be randomly selected on their boarding pass regardless of signing up for Nexus/GE or whatever other expedited BS is out there?

I'm not sure what happens in the background (probably some checks made) but... yup. That's about it.

Nooo Palms not one dime, I was “randomly” selected. I printed out my NRSA, and there in corner was the TSA Pre-check logo. I breezed through security - shoes on.
