Yeah, SkyWest has some awesome benefits. Basically, you get the following:
Full Delta benefits if "Delta-dedicated" (that is, if you work on Delta flights)
Free SkyWest-operated Delta flights if not DL-dedicated
Full AS benefits if AS-dedicated / SkyWest-AS if not (just like DL)
Free SkyWest-CO flights (will be full CO/UA benefits in April I think it is after the computer systems are merged)
Free full UA benefits, whether you work those flights or not
Free full US benefits, whether you work those flights or not
Believe me, there's a reason I'm starting to use these flight benefits now that I'm graduated and actually have time. I'm starting to look for a "big boy job" with an airline, but who knows where I'll end up and what those benefits will be. Chances are, SkyWest won't be able to be beat.
Edit: forgot the main point of my post: good luck with getting with SkyWest in SLC. Unfortunately, they had to furlough a lot of employees a few months ago, so any positions that open up there will be offered to those guys for the next while.
