That wont happen on international flight. Not without them paying a fee. I have been sitting in LHR and got on in Business class, when stand-by passengers were still sitting at the gate.Originally Posted by ThomasD59
That's certainly not DL policy for overbooked INT. They just did it on Boss' flight last wk. Over a dozen were upgraded gratis and they got rev standbys on. No nonrevs made it.

Yep, saw the same thing in MAD. 30 or more HKs on each flight, they flat out filled the front of the plane. Zero non-revs got on. They ended up getting an eZED on IB to get back to the states.
I just saw a half dozen or so rev upgrades on what would have been my JFK/FCO flight tonite. I wasn't crazy enough to go and try to get back next wk.
