    FUN!!? It's brutal! I just love eating and sleeping and drinking wine and watching movies...all in the front!

    DOn't forget you still have DTW/NRT on 14th also.
    I see the 13th has only ONE active nonrev for DTW/NRT for 6 seats...
    Be watching for yesterday and today and check for deadheads showing as PSUPs.
    I made my Fla family take the JFK--lots of folks got upstairs (they got lower, but happy in BE)
    Just one traveling?

    Yes just one traveling, I just love the 747s I flew upstairs a few times from JFK....and it rocks!

    I may postpone the trip a day or two to see if it settles down and leave on Saturday.

    Oh by the way I have a Chinese visa and plan to stay in either Shenzen or Guangzhou at least part of the time but can't find any direct ZED fares from NRT, PVG or PEK to any of those cities

    LOL...I will be on the lookout for those PSUPs...bless their hearts

    If you are going to Shenzen or Guangzhou try taking the coach from Hong Kong .. its about 3 hours, dead easy and dead cheap ( about 20 in USD I guess ) ... probably cheaper than the transfer from airport to the hotel !!

    I took the train to Guangzhou from HKG city terminal--its was a double decker with food service. Nice trip.
    I understand budget flights fly thru Macao airport.
    I think Sat looks worse...

    **sniffle** i guess i can kiss going to HKG from NRT on the 13th for sure now unless I go to TPE and ZED to Hong Kong the next day for about $45 Is the TPE Airport overnight friendly? The first flight out is about 7:30am and I don't get in until 11:30
