M husband has a business conference in fiji this jan and we are booking an extra week for a little r and r. He has tickets via his company and I thought that it would be easy to get a zed fare. After looking I am having a hard time figuring out the best route or airline that I can buy a zed fare. I will be traveling from the states....Any suggestions?
    thanks

Are you under the Delta umbrella for zed agreements?
I'll take a look again (did some research about going to Beqa Lagoon) This is what I got from the hotel:

"Air Pacific has a non-stop flight from LAX to Nadi every day except Fridays.
It is a 10hour flight and leaves around 10pm and arrives in Fiji 5:30am + 2 days.
You cross the dateline, so you loose a day going to Fiji, but gain the day returning.
Flight departs Nadi around 10:30pm and arrives into LA around 1pm same day.
We could help with flight arrangements if you like or feel free to
contact Air Pacific reservations at 800-227-4446. Rate is about $900 + $282 taxes.
Qantas code shares with Air Pac and offers the same flights, but you will
still be on the Air Pacific aircraft, but they may have different pricing."

So, if you're Delta, we have zed with Qantas but not as Air Pac code share. That's about all I can find right now.

I have ever tried KE flight from ICN to NAN. it was nice. few passenger, delicious Korean foods.
But this must take long long long time to get there for you. I was in China then.

Might sould a bit odd but you may find that the cheapest option is to fly to AKL and then connect up to NAN on Air New Zealand provided you get ZED or ID90 on NZ.

NZ is the strongest carrier for the Pacific Islands I have found and very helpful towards staff.
I've used them to the Cook Islands twice.
Other than price, air services are limited so you may want to factor that in.

NZ flights to NAN are via AKL.

Another option is HNL - NAN on FJ.

I think if you try QF via Australia, it's a considerably longer flight, dpending on what your ZED level is with QF vs NZ, if they are matched, it will be
more expensive on a longer flight = more miles.

    Good luck !

This might be a little late but if Korean is still an option it but be worth a shot. They are a partner of ours (CO) and I have talked to dozens o business travelers that love Korean Airlines. For some reason in the US it has kind of a bad name with the general public but people who use actually fly on Korean love them.

I was looking for an answer on DL but I see Chatuaqua isn't eligible for our list of OAL conditions/terms. I did see these 2 items tho:
Virgin Atlantic flts only, so that might be your answer.
The listing # is 800-772-1182--maybe they can tell you directly.
