I could do without the PS tickets. I just want my employee priority. A few weeks ago, looking by date on travelnet, I'm like 5th in line. So I'm sitting at the gate in FCO as the final boarding calls are made. I am number ONE. I was the only employee listed for that flight. The rest were all parents, non dependents, and retirees. My reward for being an active employee is that I get on ahead of these people. That's the way it should be."

SO, am I confused--were you flying as S3B or C? and all the others were boarded before you? I think I'm reading that you aren't complaining, just stating what policy is? I do wonder about this: why should employee parents get lesser privs than employee children? They are directly related. I can see a point with non dependents (but they pay yield and have lower priority like S4, yes?) The new stepparents issue is questionable to me but it is what it is, I guess. We'll see how it all shakes down after June 23? We have the same questions at a gate--wondering about retirees or who's where in the line. Unless you have GIDS with the list showing (or laptop) you have no clue. Then there's the issue of clear-thru--who started at LAX earlier and I just got to CVG to make the same flight...that sorta stinks but I guess it's fair.
