Nick. Some people would rather not deal with the stress of going non-rev, especially on OAL where they come in at a lower category and are afraid to get stuck somewhere. With a confirmed ticket, they can enjoy their vacation stress free and not worry about the flight home. So I can see that. If you're flying your own airline where you can check the loads yourself, you have a much better piece of mind and can determine if flying that day is good for you or not. But on OAL, its a bit riskier especially if TIME is a factor. But I'm like you Nick. I like to roll the dice and so far, I'ts been a great ride.
