Yes rows 72-80 are upstairs. I go several times a year over to NRT, and I would say about half the time I end up upstairs.
I like it much better than downstairs, but usually the elite members choose the upstairs first. So far the 26th looks great. We have 2 flights out of DTW and 1 out of MSP, except on Saturdays, then we have 2 out of MSP and DTW. They all look good at this time, but of course that can change even up to the last day, since they seem to pony up even at the last minute for NRT BC seats. Ask a little closer to the dates and I can check them for you. Have a nice day!
