Under the new DL/NW non-rev plan, if I list on a DL flight to connect to a NW flight (also listed) or vice versa, can the ticket counter agent check my bags all the way thru or do I have to retrieve my bags and re-check them?

Just as an FYI, this is a clarification I got from the Delta Travel Center.....
"In response to your inquiry, if all the connecting flight data is in one single record, you would be able to check the luggage through. If the flight data is in two records, you would have to claim and recheck your luggage. "

I cant speak for NWA agents, but with Delta, if you can prove an onward flight by having a printed copy of your nonrev listing we can check your bag all the way to your final destination -- just like we do for revenue pax who travel on two different tickets...

Thanks, Wayne. Once, again, this proves that things can always be worked out differently in the real world as opposed to what the rules say.
