I used to listen to these guys years ago, but as of lately, I don't seem to be able to pick them up in SHORT WAVE RADIO here in Texas as I did in Florida. I did send away for a QSL card one time. This is a postcard like card from a radio station they send to you if you provide them with a good reception report in your area of their station. Highly cherished and collected by Short Wave radio listeners and ham radio operators. One time HCJB (VOICE OF THE ANDES) send me a QSL from QUITO on the INDIAN MARKET. That is how I learned about the Indian market in Quito. Why don't you check out their site? I haven't gone through it recently, don't know if they still broadcast on short wave but they had some very interesting stories about QUITO and ECUADOR and some beautiful Andes Mountains music. Also, you can email them for information about Ecuador since they live there. They are an Evangalistic radio station keep in mind, and missionaries that been going to Ecuador since the 1950's. It is from that radio station I heard about the missionaries that were killed by local Indians by AUCA Indians and a film called END OF THE SPEAR which describes the situation. They had been interviewing a wife of one of the missionaries killed then and the miracle of "Converting" these killers into Christians.
