Quito is beautiful. We stay at the Sheraton. Nuesta who works there as an information person hooked us up with a guide for the day. Marcio, our guide, took us to some point of interest and a whole day trip to Otovallo.

    Please tell us more, SFO!
GUA is pretty cool place, too. Just returned and will do a "story".
DL is adding more service to Ecuador this fall, too. I'd like to know more about what to see/do etc.

If the Sheraton isn't offering a non-crew rate , try the Mercure (King suites average $30-40) and Sofitel can be as much as $100. Space avail using contract SC006924872, code 32474.
Keep us posted with more info, please!

I literally just got back from Quito today. I flew down on Friday night, partied that night, then woke up early on Saturday to climb Pinchina, we made it 14,200 ft before we got exhausted. Came back and took a bus to Mitad del Mundo, had dinner, then caught the 1030 back to ATL.

I'd say you only need two days to see the "major" stuff.

    nwaflyguy,
I am not sure when you plan to go but I just put in the Mercure Quito for July 30 at 3 nights and it came back with a rate of $29.75 per night.
Use the rate code that mrs767er put up:
