    I misread your post, I thought you had SLC. There are enough flights out of SCL that if you could ZED I would think it was doable. You might go a few days before the marathon then buy a ticket if you do not make it. Due to the marathon flights might be full within a few days of the race. Tickets are about $600 r/t from SCL, how much are ZED tickets? is the difference between the two worth it?
