I am a dispatcher as well and inquired about this very thing last week as I'll be jumping in and out of FRA this summer. Spoke with a friend in UA DX, and he said that things are pretty much the same as before for OMC travel.

List prior, hit the ticket office/counter to pay any possible taxes, proceed to gate and hope for a seat. Still can't ride in the cockpit on intl flights.

There isn't CO metal/UA metal, it's all UA now.
