Welcome to this great forum. When did you start with OH? I think you're the first other OH employee I've seen on here(well, that actively posts).

I've not yet gone int'l, but for departure fees it is my understanding that DL pays it, then charges OH, who then deducts it from your next paycheck.

There's a thread in the General Discussion forum about current departure fees. Were you set on LGW, or just Europe somewhere? If I recall correctly, LGW is the most expensive. Were you spending 1 day, or turning with the aircraft?
