I recommend you choose another Eu destination--LGW--the fees are outrageous--food is expensive and darn near every other city has enough English speakers to make the trip easy. and quite a bit cheaper. You weren't planning to come back the same day you arrived, were you?
Frankfurt to CVG is a pretty easy to go in for a day or two--good transport etc--good discounts with Accor Hotels, too.
