Hey everyone, thanks for the welcomes.
I started with OH in 10/2006 and have happily been employed there since.
During the summer (June-Sept) of 2002 I worked for Skyway Airlines at CVG so this is my second sampling of the airline world. And quite the experience too, one having been Outstation and the next being Hub status. I left Skyway for (be kind) TSA in 2002 and boy did I regret that soon enough, not that I didn't love the job I was doing then, for TSA and had been doing before so at CVG, but there is nothing like working in the airlines. Love it love it. And gosh who doesn't love the free travel.
Just in this year alone I have flown on 34 flights, all domestic as I am only scheduled to get my passport tuesday in DC. The reason for settling on LGW is that my friend and I would like to fly out to CDG tuesday but I am afraid I won't get finished at the passport bureau before the last flight leaves DCA to get us home in time for CDG. If we went to LGW the flight leaves an 1hr20min later so I think I'd have plenty of time to get all my affairs in order and barring any delays out of DCA and CVG, get there in time. And we were planning to come right back on the next flight after we arrive. My friend wants to see if she can handle a flight that long. Me on the other hand am excited about the prospect. Every week this year I have made the flight combination of CVG, PHX & ATL. Somehow or another flying to PHX and connecting home to CVG on the red eye flight. Its ALOT of fun, dinner, drinks & a movie because F is usually wide open on M & T nights.
Lol, once I flew in on sunday night from CVG (PHX) and back home, the next night (monday) I ended up in ATL and flew again to PHX-CVG on the redeye arriving home early Tuesday morning and then Tuesday night I went CVG-PHX-CVG.
On the Monday night there were 20 pax total on the aircraft. Another non-rev & I in F and 18 in Y. The next night there were also 20 pax onboard total, though more up front & less in the rear. SSHHH don't tell anyone highup in DL, they may do away with the redeye.
Over the summer this was my "SAN plan" until that redeye went away (to CVG) and then last fall through December it was SFO which provided alot of fun and great people & staff I met both in the city & the airport. LAX works too sometimes.
OK, thats too much, I have to sign off now lol. Take Care everyone.
