<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nightice @ Nov 10 2008, 06:12 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div>Thanks for the info. 9E employee here, too. I have heard that DL tries to accomodate non-rev's but just want to make sure. As of now, NWA has plenty of seats open so I'll likely go ahead and fly WBC on the 747 and get a backup ZED ticket from ICN-ATL on KE (for some reason DL flies there non-stop but can't find the return back on DL non-stop)
As for the merger, good question. I just hope we have a job (ramper, here!). Will be interesting. Yeah, my experiences have been NWA will not upgrade employees without paying the appropriate fare. You're right...non-rev'ing is great on NWA![/b]
DL 91-92 ATL-ICN-ATL are only operated 4 or 5 days a week, so it's probably not operated that day.
Hal TZ, correct me if I'm wrong, but your nonrev experiences are before the "fly together" program. If so, this goes to show DL's generosity to ALL OA nonrevs.
The policy under "fly together" is that NW, XJ, CP fly for free on DL and all DL CONX and are cleared in the premium cabin if available. I know that NW Airlink and DL CONX that are not wholly owned still have to buy the ZED. So, you, as a 9E employee, would not get the higher priority code vs an employee of XJ. Methinks you should technically be cleared in Y with empty J seats, but Hal TZ can attest that this isn't always the case.
