I guess the thought is that the Facebook fans should be somewhat relative to passengers carried, so the spread in the picture should be closer to the spread below:

These figures can't be right, 85,000+ total passengers carried for AA for 2009, I have more friends and family than that.

The key phrase there is "in thousands". So, 85 *million* pax.
