Thread: How does DL buddy passes work?

At Delta the buddies ALWAYS travel as S4's..... Behind Active, retired, parents, other airlines. I agree that a buddy should never have a higher priority than an active employee. At NWA and now Delta the spouse and dependent children have always traveled with the employees seniority date even when traveling without them. One travel rule that NWA had was the a manager, their spouse and kids always flew with a higher priority than the employees. Even vacation passes were lower priority than managers everyday travel. When is comes to pass travel at Delta, mangers and employees are treated the same.
