One facility that we will have with eZEDS that we don't have with paper tickets today is the abiltiy to get a ticket issued anytime and anwhere. So if I don't get on the EK flight from DXB-BOM, I can get a new eticket issued for 9W within a matter of minutes. Today, I would have had to purchase paper tickets on EK & 9W, and probably other paper backups, because I know some airlines don't honor the VALID ZED CARRIERS endorsement.
Oooooo, if you can do that with eZEDS, t'would be awesome! But here's another question....if you cancel that ZED on EK and rebook on 9W, is that refund instantly credited? Cuz if not, it's the same thing (financially) as buying multiple ZED's. Convenience, however, will be much better since you can do that on the fly.

Hmmm.....*thinks harder about my previous statement*
