Thread: US/AA merger developing story..So many questions..

This process was fairly quick(DL/NW) with single seniority merged within 6-9 months based on date of hire. So in certain stations, (PHL,PIT,DFW,ORD) as the process plays out, some might have to move. I have a friend in LAS who is AA and has 26 yrs. and if I put him in with my US Air friends there he would be right in the middle with the lowest seniority at 11. Safe for now. The most senior below wing in that station for US is 45 yrs. (geez) and AA 36yrs. Likely we will see voluntary furloughs is certain stations (PHX,PIT,PHL) asuming staffing needs to facilitate the operation. Some people will not move while others have been through several mergers(America West/PSA-US/Piedmont-AA) and will adjust.
